YWCA of Black Hawk County Recognition Opportunities
The YWCA extends special recognition to individuals, groups, organizations, or businesses that make cumulative gifts of $500 or more within a fiscal year (July 1 through June 30) through the 1884 Society. This exclusive society offers various giving levels to acknowledge the generosity of our valued supporters.
- Founder: $10,000 and more – The YWCA honors those who started the organization
- Leader: $5,000 - $9,999 – The YWCA develops women leaders
- Mentor: $3,000 - $4,999 – The YWCA acts as a mentor, a caregiver and a friend to those in need
- Advocate: $2,000 - $2,999 – The YWCA advocates for services, legislation and racial justice
- Innovator: $1,000 - $1,999 – The YWCA is often first in making the necessary changes needed to meet the evolving needs of those it serves
- Builder: $500 - $999 – The YWCA builds self-esteem, strong programs and alliances
